Smart Indoor Hydroponic Tower: Fresh Food, Grown at Home

The LaNiTex hydroponic tower (V5.2-A) is a smart vertical tower that turns just 0.3 square metres into a year-round indoor hydroponic garden. This self-contained indoor hydroponic system combines full-spectrum LED grow lights, water recycling and remote light and water control, so you can grow fresh vegetables, herbs and leafy greens indoors, without soil. It's a complete indoor hydroponic garden built for Australian homes, supplied by LaNiTex Australia and shipped Australia-wide.

A Hydroponic Tower Built for Small Indoor Spaces

This vertical hydroponic tower stacks several growing layers into one slim grow tower, so even a small footprint gives you plenty of room to plant.

    • Space-saving: 180 cm tall on just 0.3 m² (81 × 43 × 180 cm); fits a kitchen, garage, spare room or commercial space.
    • High capacity: 76 sowing positions and 72 planting slots.
    • Built to last: high-strength, food-grade PP; ~35 kg packed.

    A Self-Contained Vertical Hydroponic System

    • NFT (Nutrient Film Technique) in the cultivation layer keeps the nutrient solution within a ~3 mm film, so the main roots draw nutrients while the side roots get oxygen.
    • Tidal irrigation in the seedling layer floods and drains for strong germination.
    • Modular and soil-free: switch between fruits, vegetables and herbs; spray systems and air convection manage humidity.

    Smart Control & Live Monitoring

    • Remote adjustment of light and water cycles.
    • Energy-saving lighting: separate seedling and growing-layer lighting.
    • Live monitoring: real-time temperature, humidity and power-usage alerts.

Built to Move, Easy to Run

The tower sits on four wheels, so you can roll it to wherever it suits in the house. Set the lights and water cycles from the front panel or the handheld remote, and when the tank runs low the unit beeps so you know to top it up. Leafy greens are ready in about 30 days, and the tower grows enough at once to keep a small household in fresh leaves.

    Full-Spectrum LED Grow Lights

Full-spectrum LEDs mimic natural sunlight, with adjustable settings for fruits and greens, and a typical draw of only ~1.2 kWh a day.

Grow 30+ Vegetables, Herbs & Leafy Greens Indoors

Grow 30+ varieties of green leafy vegetables like lettuce, rocket, bok choy, spinach, kale and parsley, plus herbs and some fruits, indoors and pesticide-free. Pick-and-eat freshness, from system to table. It doubles as an indoor herb garden, with room for basil, coriander, mint and plenty more.

Why Choose the LaNiTex Indoor Hydroponic Garden?

    • Complete kit: the hydroponic garden kit arrives with planting sponges, baskets, blackout covers and a remote, ready to set up out of the box.
    • Pesticide-free and soil-free: no soil-borne pests or chemical residues.
    • 30–50% faster than soil, with a water-recycling reservoir.
    • Adds living greenery to your space while you grow.
    • Australian support: by LaNiTex Australia, shipped Australia-wide, with a detailed user manual (PDF) and online tutorials.

How to Grow With the LaNiTex Tower

    1. Assemble the tower. Lay the parts out against the packing list, then build it layer by layer from the bottom up. The seedling layer and its cover go on last.
    2. Fill the tanks. Add clean tap water to the spray tank. In the separate nutrient tank, dissolve Part A first, then add Part B (never both at once). The two-part hydroponic nutrient is sold separately at garden and hydroponic shops.
    3. Switch it on. Turn on the power and the tower runs on its default settings. Adjust the lights, water pump and mist from the front panel or the remote, or leave them as they are: lights on from 8am to 8pm, about 12 hours a day.
    4. Sow your seeds. Soak the seeds for 6 to 10 hours, tuck 2 to 3 into a soaked planting sponge in each cup, and set the cups in the seedling layer. Turn the light on once they sprout.
    5. Move the seedlings up. At about 4 to 5 leaves, lift each cup into a planting layer to finish growing. The seedling layer is then free for your next batch, so something is always on the go.
    6. Harvest. Leafy greens are ready in about 30 days, with the best picking between days 25 and 30. Top up the tanks when the low-water alarm beeps.

How the LaNiTex indoor hydroponic system circulates water and nutrients to the roots.

NFT cultivation layer: nutrients and oxygen for strong roots

The cultivation layer uses NFT (Nutrient Film Technique), which holds the nutrient solution to a precise film within about 3 mm. The main roots sit in the solution and take up the minerals, while the side roots stay in the air and get plenty of oxygen. That balance gives you strong root systems and healthy plants.

Tidal-irrigation seedling layer for strong germination

The seedling layer uses tidal irrigation. As the nutrient solution circulates, the seedling cups are fully submerged to hold the moisture seeds need to germinate. When the flow stops, the solution drains back to the reservoir, leaving a humid, breathable space around the roots. It's a simple cycle that helps seeds sprout and build strong roots.

    Hydroponic tower: common questions

What is the LaNiTex hydroponic tower?

It's a smart vertical hydroponic tower that grows vegetables, herbs and leafy greens indoors, without soil. It is 180 cm tall on a 0.3 square metre footprint, with full-spectrum LED grow lights and a recirculating nutrient system.

How does the hydroponic system work?

Instead of soil, the plant roots are fed by a nutrient solution. The cultivation layer uses NFT (Nutrient Film Technique), where a thin film of nutrient water flows over the roots, and the seedling layer uses tidal irrigation to germinate seeds. Full-spectrum LED lights take the place of sunlight.

What can I grow in it?

Over 30 varieties of leafy greens, like lettuce, spinach, kale and parsley, plus herbs and some fruits.

How many plants can it grow at once?

72 active planting slots, plus 76 sowing positions in the seedling layer, all on just 0.3 square metres of floor space. It suits kitchens, garages, spare rooms or commercial indoor spaces.

Does it need nutrients, and are they safe?

Yes, the plants are fed with a balanced nutrient solution. The formula is made from selected raw materials, tested to be free of toxic substances, and safe for your plants and your home.

Is it hard to set up?

It is designed for self-assembly with a modular structure, a step-by-step manual and online tutorials. Professional assembly is available in South East Queensland for $100.

How much power does it use?

About 1.2 kWh a day. Seedlings and mature plants have separate light settings to keep energy use down.

Can I rent it in Australia?

Yes. Buy outright for AUD $1,990, or rent from $12 to $14 per week on a 6 or 12-month plan. Every rental plan includes the option to buy.

Are replacement parts and modules available?

Yes. Replacement parts and extra modules are available to buy whenever you need them.
