The Top Tier: NFT Growing
The upper tier is where your plants grow, using NFT (nutrient film technique). A thin film of nutrient water runs across the base of the pods, kept to within about 3 mm, so the lower roots sit in the solution while the upper roots stay in the air.
That mix matters: the roots in the water take up minerals, and the roots in the air get plenty of oxygen. Plants that get both grow faster and stronger than they would with their roots sitting in soil.

A Closed Loop That Feeds Your Plants
Nutrient water flows in at one end and runs along the channel beneath the planting cups, so the roots get a steady drink. It then drains back to the tank, where the system recirculates it automatically. The same solution keeps working around the clock with very little waste, and no hand-watering from you.
